< Salute, pilots from Wing X, Wing Commander Angel, Commodore Darklord and last but not least Flight Officer Daniel Bonini >

Welcome to this, my fourteenth Weekly Report for my beloved Squadron, the mighty Cyclone, "The Demolition Crew". It was a splendid week with 2 of our Lieutenants returning to active duty not to mention another new recruit with the arrival of Sub-Lieutenant Akur! Sadly, we also saw the announced departure of LT Oxxysk to the oblivion of AWOL :-\

Anyway, I'm very pleased and proud of your current levels of activity and sweet communications, guys! That's exactly how an active Squadron is supposed to work and I'm pretty sure I can expect even more from you in days ahead. Get your flightsuits and do something horrible out there with some quality-flying! Remember that next month we'll have "Raise the Flag 2007", the most important TIE Corps competition of the year, upon us and I expect excellent participation from you all in behalf of your ship, the ever-drunk ever-pwning never-knowing-where-to-start-braking ISD II Challenge!! >:-D

I.) But I thought I'd find some Kansas flying farm here!! (aka. Squadron News)

V Attention, pilots!! Vertigo, former Cyclone 1-2, has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander and also appointed as our new Flight II Leader (Cyclone 2-1) due to his outstanding accomplishments and titanic motivation in such a little time on service in this fine and glorious Squadron that Cyclone is, that Cyclone deserves to be. Flight Members of "The Wind of Change", be ready to ask him for help and info as you already do with me because from now on he's your direct superior, but much more important, your friend who will report me about your accomplishments beyond the stuff the database CCs to me. Hereby I request you to send him little "weekly reports" on your own including there *EVERYTHING* you consider relevant for us to know about your performance in behalf of the TIE Corps. Ask him about and he'll inform you about how these "reports" are supposed to be. On the other hand, THIS IS NOT MANDATORY; I mean, you don't have to do it if you don't want and nobody will go against you by any means... Over my frozen corpse I tell you! It's only that this way you'll make for us possible to know about each and every thing you do, even those little things which never recieve official recognition as those missions you couldn't complete because their creator was a %&·¬~#¬~, those MP matches you lost because you flew against some "My-brain-IS-a-sensor" lacking of a life dude... whatever... I'll know how to reward your efforts, you can be sure! ^_^

Ummm... ok, with all that said there's only one detail left. (*ahem*) ¬_¬... Lieutenant Commander Vertigo, THIS is yours.

/me handles LCM Vertigo a shiny new LCM rank badge and then merrily steals him his wallet

THIS is ours. Dismissed. We'll meet at the Wing X Cantina for the promo party. Those who are still up at the end of the night-cycle, bring the rest back to Cyclone quarters. We must keep high the ship's dignity and the Flight Officer already told me that he's done of having to step among each and every rank on the whole Fleet laying through the corridors to reach his Office (yeah, *THAT* Cantina table, go figure... xD).

V We have Lieutenant Verde, Cyclone 2-2, again with us!! He just returned from his extended LoA and is already performing at the IWATS Academy! Pleased to have you around again, Verde. We were waiting for you. But I still wonder why you decided to start with some learning at the Academy instead of coming here and enjoy some drunk-flying involving Rebel Scum mayhem with us. And now here you are with that pile of technical manuals with stupid titles... Technical Procedures on Repairing Ion Engines, Tactical Analysis when Attacking a Platform, Hot Imperial Babes Top Bikini 19 ABY... Oh, wait... Hmpfff!! ~¬_¬ I should have imagined about.

Aaaaaand not only this satyr of LT Verde but we have also back Lieutenant Lvpps, Cyclone 1-3, who decided to make a break in his... ermmm... break? to fly with us again and provide some hell to those "Humidity Farms worshipers" in the upcoming Weeks of War! It's great to have you back, Lieutenant. But please, next time you want to bring your CMDR a souvenir from the WoW try for it to be a little less... bloody... or at least enclose it somewhere damnit! Look what that Rebel Squadrons-dude head is doing to MY carpet. ~>:F

V Excellent news, guys!! That friendly and desired shuttle that visits the Challenge from time to time returned this week! (Nooo, *that one* is the one which brings the Twi'lek dancers for our parties and better pray for the Commodore to don't notice that you installed all those Intel Division spying devices on it... uninstalling HIS OWN devices first) And it left here Sub-Lieutenant Akur, who joins the Squadron from Platform Daedalus as his very first assignment within the Fleet, filling Cyclone 2-4 spot! SL Akur, please feel yourself at home among the ranks of Cyclone. LCM Vertigo is your Flight Leader, I am your daily nightmare (aka. CMDR) and this is the first and last time all our money will be on your drinks as we celebrate properly your arrival at the Wing Cantina, using from our distinguished old Chal-style manners. (*CMDR Zósite looks at the rest of LOLing Cyclone*) Yeah, distinguished, distinguished, what's up with that you fools?! >:P

Oh well... I wish you the best here, Sub-Lieutenant. Remember to contact me whenever you need, try to keep your mind intact for a couple of weeks and... and then you'll realize that all your efforts were futile, that you have become a true Cyclone asset, recognized member of "The Demolition Crew", and yet another horrible flying nightmare for all sorts of New Republic punks and anarchists alike! ;-D

V And now the crappy side of the coin: Lieutenant Kraxian Oxxysk, Cyclone 2-3, has been AWOLed due to his total absence of communications for more than 2 months. Do you remember what I told you about the capital importance of keeping good communications with your CMDR and FL? Indeed. Well, that's why you are still here and he's now on route to Palpatine knows where; AWOL people don't go to the M/FRG Phoenix as Reservists and their profiles are deactivated (not suspended, that's a very different and much more serious thing involving being expelled and other unhealthy habits) at the database until they contact again directly with the Flight Officer, who maybe will require them some good reason to let them back given the situation. You don't want this to happen, *I* don't want this to happen. Please trust me: I HATE to AWOL pilots, mantain good communication levels and don't make me to do so. Be as inactive as a damned Rebel facing a simple first grade equation if you want but don't EVER lose contact if you want to remain here.

And about you, Lieutenant Oxxysk, I can only wish you to be well since I'm really concerned about your absolut silence after you told me you were ready to become a #wing_x "secure value". If you ever find your way back and still want your old spot let along to explain me what happened don't hesitate to contact me again and I'll see what can I do.

V Lieutenant Colonel Kadon Beir!! Do you remember him? Well, he was Cyclone CMDR not so long ago and he was MY CMDR. You have his ugly beard at the Cyclone website "Meet the Squadron" section if you want to take a look xD. Anyway it seems that, looking for some peace of mind while on vacations after been suffering BSF-hell for several months (All my fault. You gotta love it! :P), the poor guy arrived at the ISD Subjugator. Seeing all those dudes wandering around in robes (you must know that the Sub was formerly assigned to a Dark Brotherhood's task force) he thought that's exactly what he was looking for: a peaceful and silent flying-monastery. But even before he could ask them about their Great Abbot they just grabbed him, brought him to ship's bridge and appointed him as Wing XIX Commander!! For the sake of it and because they say so (I heard they menaced him with wasting all his left "Collie Brew" as tug fuel). xD We sincerely wish you the best luck in your new WC spot, Colonel! You'll always have a place right here at my hear... at my "pilot files" folder. ^_^

V "TIE-Golf 2007" is near, pilots!! This happy-TACcy sponsored competition involves flying some TIE-FREE missions paired with another guy with some hopeless mind condition, as yourselves, and looking for the lowest scores possible. Does it sound easy to you? Heh... think twice. I just fear playing there as it will be my first time (yeah, I'm already signed; I won't let them to be free from me so easily) and I'm pretty sure that people there will go seriously into it. They already have rules enough to take you down and step over your demoted head if you think you can just go there and kill your own ships to lower your score. Check details HERE, at the official TIE-Golf 2007 website. And sign yourselves there ASAP because otherwise you won't be able to participate when time arrives. Don't let that tall clone of Super Mario at the main page to scare you away!! You're Imperial Officers by Palpatine's sakes! Don't let such a stupid thing as that to...

Ok, it's just too spooky for me. This cruel TACcy wants that über Iron Star with Platinum Wings! for herself. DON'T LIE!!! And yeah, you read well: IS-PW, one of these...

Platinum powha ftw!!

( No, no "Spoilers" yet. And I'll be just happy as long as you can prevent me to write such bollocks here providing me with good Squadron activity to fill this section. Who knows? Maybe the next time I have to use them I'll just use all these videos I gathered after changing those ID devices you installed at you-know-which shuttle to your OWN rooms. BWHAHAHAHAHA!! )

II.) As if we haven't enough already with all the TC database stuff!! (aka. Squadron Status and On-going Competitions)

R Now, with Lieutenant Oxxysk out, I have you all at hand at last!! I have good communications from all of you to date and that's something to be proud of I tell you. Not every Squadron Commader out there could say the same. Good work!! The AWOL menace will be far from you as long as you keep this up! Remember: we're here for fun and there's not fun on your own when enlisted on the Imperial Navy unless you want to be assigned to some ship's detention blocks, playing the role of prisioner to be exact... and even then you'll have to stand the company of those friendly interrogation droids...

Q And not only that but I'm also most pleased of seeing all you active and doing something, at least a little. If only I could award each of you a medal for it! Next month will start "Raise the Flag 2007", the most important competition within the TIE Corps where the winner ship will be the Flagship of the TIE Corps for next year (you're right now infecting the current Flagship!! :-D). And I want Cyclone to be recognized as the best and most active Squadron there in behalf of our ship, the amazing "bunch-of-drunks" Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Challenge!! Can I count on you for that one? I hope so... I wouldn't accept a "NO" as an answer unless you're ready to accept a badly fat and particularly affective Ewok tied to your collar as your next merit medal. >:-)

Q Yet another weekly Cyclone website update, as usual. Don't forget to check the site often as one of your primary sources of useful information and bollocks of all kinds. Any complaints sent directly to the TO by filling a "Comp. Approval Form" while asking him if you can award IS-wings for non-flying stuff.

LAST MINUTE NOTE: For some unknown reason the access to the whole isdchallenge.net domain is currently forbidden so, despite what I said above, in the end I couldn't upload the updates I made to the website. And besides, the copy of this report that I'm going to upload into the TC database will look horrible with so many damn image gaps because it links directly with the pics at Cyclone site. (:-| We'll see what happens in days ahead...

Q And here you are the current status of our Squadron-level competitions for October! To be honest I expect much more from you before the end of the month. Otherwise I'll reduce to its half the monetary value of those "racoon-credits" I gave you in exchange of your actual credits to use on any Squadron-level commerce which applies.

Cyclone Pilot of October '07 - November '07

LCM Vertigo - 77 missions    (Not all shown at the Kill Board since it doesn't count missions flown more than once for the same year unless you beat the highscores)

Cyclone Student of October '07 - November '07

LT Verde - 3 IWATS Courses
COL Maverick - 1 IWATS Course
LCM Vertigo - 1 IWATS Course
(Although SL Akur also completed an IWATS Course this month apart from the Core one it doesn't count as he did it when he was not assigned yet. Sorry. :-P)

A little HS for a Cyclonite, a major hit against the NR punks!

I'm still waiting for any of you interested enough in having a HS-hunting competition for ourselves to contact me in order to submit a new edition of this one. It's up to you, guys! My duty is to provide you with ways of improving yourselves as TC pilots but if you prefer to improve as standing ergonomic chairs feel free to do so. But please, don't come later bitching about why on hell so many people out there always outscore you in Fleet-wide SP flying competitions! ):-F

  4. Drink; as a truly Challengite this is a must to perform. If only you could feel The Power of the Daze Side of the Booze©®!!
  5. Participate in some competition if possible. Cyclone is here to obliterate any opposition hence our nickname!
  6. For Flight Leaders: I want your weekly reports on Fridays if possible. It's not mandatory but... it's better to not take risks...

Note on order 4: if you can't actually realize this IS NOT a RL way to go you should request transfer to the Sov or something... ¬_¬

V.) Someone flew over the Ewok's Nest (aka. Commander's Corner)

A new recruit has recently arrived to Cyclone Squadron from Platform Daedalus. Sub-Lieutenant Akur has joined the ranks of Cyclone Squadron within the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Challenge, the current TIE Corps Flagship. There, while he's still on ground instruction about standard Fleet procedures and other senseless meanings of bureaucracy, he respectfully asked for some info about his first assignment, both about the Squadron and the ship. Maybe one of these days we'll go into what some sadistic Cyclonite decided to relate him about that bunch of alcoholic sociopaths but TODAY is not THAT day! (Aragorn II dixit). Today we'll see a video record that someone who decided to remain anonymous and only revealed his code-name, "Lee", sent to the poor Sub-Lieutenant in order for him to know what was he going into. <PLAY>!!

Here we are, on SSSD Sovereign's bridge where Grand Admiral Astatine, the Fleet Commander of The Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet, decided to take direct command over the ship when Rear Admiral Viper Pred was temporally decomissioned after some strange incident involving the whole Command Staff Squadron, an odd Missile Boat piloted by some CMDR who went mad (currently passing some painful [RE] (Re-education) IWATS Course) and some escorts from the Sov who didn't arrive on time. Now RA Pred spends his time along with his wood sword hunting Ewoks at Endor system and the Fleet Commander looks through the viewport when suddenly he fixes his "dooming-on-you" eyes on a ship coming from hyperspace just in front of him, 10 kms. away. He asks about without even looking back to bridge crew.

<LT Quo Vadis> It's the ISD Challenge, Grand Admiral, Sir. It's coming here near our orbit. Problem is that nobody there answers our communication requests.

<GA Astatine> ...

<LT Quo Vadis> Wait! A TIE Defender with Imperial IFF and coded at the database as the "Astra Fighter" has just left the Hangar and it's coming here full-speed. It's the Flight Officer's personal starfighter! And it's flying with no escorts.

<GA Astatine> Dan... wtf? >:F

Some minutes later Admiral Daniel Bonini, the EH Flight Officer and TIE Corps Commander appears at the Sov's bridge and approaches the Fleet Commander with calm. Then he stands at his right, near him but wisely one step behind.

<AD Dan> Sir.

<GA Astatine> Ok. Whaaaaaat?

<AD Dan> The Challenge is coming towards us. It will be here in no time, E.T.A.: 4 minutes. Nobody answers from there because there's nobody left at the bridge to do it. I decided to come here on my own as fast as I could.

<GA Astatine> May I suppose that you're going to tell me what's going on soon?

<AD Dan> Aye, Sir! Well, it seems they got some big party yesterday at the Wing X Cantina to celebrate the promotion of yet another of their officers reaching the "kernel-club" (My fault, Sir). It was our night-cycle and we were still on hyperspace but RA Darklord and COL Angel left the bridge and went to party themselves whining about some booze especifically branded as Chal-flags property which was being merciless wasted.

<GA Astatine> Sounds like their classic drunk nonsenses. Why should we care about?

<AD Dan> Well, Sir; I knew about all this at day-cycle after reading the bridge logs. I wasn't at my Office when these things happened. As you may know it's at the Cantina itself, but I was investigating about some of my song records which suddenly disappeared near "Zós' Secret Destillery" (I'm almost sure that the b**<CoC CENSORED>**** used them in some of his crazy mixtures and they're gone forever >:-( ). Anyway, when I reached the bridge I saw nobody there and the ship was already hypering-out. Then I ran as fast as I could towards the Hangar Bay to get my starfighter just in case and here I am.

<GA Astatine> So? ¬_¬

<AD Dan> To reach the Hangar Bay I had to pass near the Wing X Cantina. And there I saw them all. Those who were still up and not infecting the floor somehow managed to disable the ship's flight controls when trying to find the remains of their flags' secret booze stash into the Engineering tunnels.

<GA Astatine> ...

<AD Dan> Now the Chal is stuck on a collision flight path against this very ship and nobody can help it from inside. We really could do with some disabling there, Sir. Otherwise you better say bye to the Chal and some significant section of the Sov while getting your own "Tug" and flying the hell outta here. E.T.A.: 2 mins...

<GA Astatine> ...

<AD Dan> Orders, Sir? :-|

<GA Astatine> Yeah, disable the bloody ship and whatnot... By the way, Dan, how's your wife?

<AD Dan> ... ^_^u ...
