< Salute, pilots from Wing X, Wing Commander Angel, Commodore Darklord and last but not least Flight Officer Daniel Bonini >

Welcome to this, my seventeenth Weekly Report for my beloved Squadron, the mighty Cyclone, "The Demolition Crew". Wohohoho!! What a week for Cyclone, lady and gentlemen! Not only we saw the return of Captain Wolfblade among us but we got enough promotion party to go round and our current activity in "Raise the Flag" is just from the best the Fleet has seen in quite a long time. Cyclone is leading the competition Squadron-wise (check news below)!! As a Squadron Commander I just cannot wish anything better. ^_^

No, wait! I could... despite many of you are doing splendid we have a significant number of people here that seem to be as active as a Rebel Cal Cruiser with some overall systems failure involving ions. You know who you are. Your Squad mates know who you are. *I* know who you are. Problem is that when the MSE time will come again the OPS won't know who you are. And if I can't find some minutes in days ahead to e-mail you can feel lucky...

Oh, by the way... maybe you'll notice a dramatic impact on my usual NUTS speech in this WSR. Why? Well, look HERE and you'll know why! I have still to pass that Wizardry [WZD] IWATS Course in order to expand my time yet a little more. Didn't you know that November is one of the worst and hardest month for anyone related the University RL World? And do you remember my Astrophysics PhD? There you go... My apologies. ;-P

I.) But I thought I'd find some Kansas flying farm here!! (aka. Squadron News)

V "Raise the Flag 2007" is running right now on its third week. The Fiction division is now over with our own Lieutenant Kate bringing to Cyclone those preciousss 75 bonus points along with her IS-GR! The fiction she made is not just excellent, it's better than any of you could ever imagine. Go and read it at the "NUTS Pinacotheca" section on Cyclone website and you'll see! Colonel Maverick also made an excellent one and it's there too; maybe it's not so carefully planned and executed as Kate's one but damn! I was laughing for minutes after reading it (Estimated Fun Arrival: 200%). He ranked 8th at the competition with 7 more points for us. 7 points got also my own submission (not planned, not executed, just tossed out there in all its crazy purity) and I ranked 5th, but as mine wasn't directly related to Cyclone I won't include it at the site; if anybody wants to read it (are you fool?! O__o) just tell me about and I'll send you a copy. Now the Graphics division is running until Thursday 15th and I'm pretty sure you'll put your couple of shots there. Quick, don't worry about your skills and submit the best you can extract from your sick minds as some RtF Banner. If *I* can do it YOU can do it. Hell! But if the only 3 things I'm capable of doing with graphics are:

    I: Cut/Copy stuff A from place B.
II: Paste stuff A in place C.
    III: Screwing it up.

And just for all of you to know if you don't know it yet: currently this our own mighty ship, the ISD Challenge is leading! And not only that but also Cyclone is leading Squadron-wise!! Keep it on people! Nobody challenge the Challenge and keep their arses intact. So it is written, so it shall be flown. Oh well... I'm also leading player-wise but you didn't know to hear that, right? ;-P

V Please, people, provide your best Chal-style welcome (back) into "The Demolition Crew" to Captain Bjorn Wolfblade, who returns from the oblivion of AWOL (thanks Palpatine, Crom and Athena) to his old Cyclone Flight I assigned as Cyclone 1-4! I'm sure that his help will be invaluable for us as an experienced MPer in RtF. Welcome back, Captain! I wish you the best among us. Now I'm just wondering who pays the drinks here under such circumstances; usually we pay the booze for new recruits but as you're not exactly new... but you are here again... ummm... ermmm...

/me scratches his head... there was an Ewok lurking there...

Ok, we'll share the booze this time. YES, SHARE!! (*sigh*) Ok, ok, folks... it's obvious you're not used to hear such a term within the Fleet. Find its meaning HERE.

V Your own asylum-spawn CMDR was chosen as Wing X Pilot of last October thus been awarded one of those IS-SWs, you know... And I was hoping to not receive one of these titles again. I mean: if our flags think I'm deserving to be chosen as the best pilot of the Wing something's rotten in our little flying kingdom. As if they wouldn't know already about that nasty habit of mine on vaping everything I see out of an airlock. EVERYTHING!! Hence why they only launch my MIS "Cuiviëdûr" when there're only enemies out there and no additional friendly craft on sight. Problem comes when I'm done with the assignment and turn back to return to Hangar. xD

V Lieutenant Commander Vertigo, Flight II Leader, needed to depart on LoA for all a week. Last minute issues upon him, but don't panic: he promised to return as soon as he can and even to fly twice as much as he would have flown being here. Anyway, until he returns Lieutenant Commander Verde is Cyclone Flight II acting-Flight Leader (and he would deserve that position for real if the spot would be available I tell you). Pilots of "The Wind of Change", don't hesitate to ask LCM Verde for help and information as necessary as you use to do with Vertigo and report to him your Flight Member activity records each Thursday. Good luck there, LCM!! If you survive this one you'll be rewarded for your efforts. ^_^

V Funny... first they choose me as Wing X Pilot and now they promote me to Major. Will the crazyness ever stop here? Oh, well... "Major NUTS ever" at your service, lady and gentlemen. ;-P

ME TO PAY WHAT??? o__O ... Look! Isn't that the Fleet Commander in person piloting a pterodactyl and coming with MoHs for you all?! :__D

/me flees as quickly as he can

V PROMO PARTY again people!! (Thanks heavens... for a moment I thought I finally had to pay for my own one! ^^) Congratulations to Verde on his much more than deserved promotion to Lieutenant Commander this week!! So there you have it as I promised, Verde. And I'm looking forward to reccomend your "arse" to be kicked up much more if possible. Just give me reasons to do that. ;-)

And now you're wondering why this news entry comes after that one about Verde taking on acting-Flight II Leadership, already as LCM, right? Well, it comes after that one because... because otherwise you wouldn't be wondering about it, isn't it obvious?

V Please offer your most sincere congratulations to Brian Klem, Cyclone 2-3, who has been recently promoted to the rank of full Lieutenant due to his accomplishments at the IWATS Academy and his first signs of flying activity!! I hope this to be just the first of a large list of promotions at your side, Lieutenant! Keep it on. And don't forget to mantain good communication levels with your Flight Leader and myself. It's VERY important!

The rest of you, loot his wallet in behalf of the booze! NOW!! >:D

V Lt. Commander Vertigo and Lt. Commander Verde also deserve our congrats as the 1st! and 2nd! ranking players respectivelly in "The LO's Vault" competition. IS-GW for the first (his first gold wings!) and IS-SW for the second already there. Excellent, you two. You have made Cyclone name to shine yet a little more brighter! :-D

( NOW here you have a good and useful "Spoiler": ISD Challenge *WILL* win RtF!! Cyclone *WILL* win as the top Squadron!... See? Even when I decide to write here something for real it's as useful as usual. We already knew that, didn't we?! xD )

II.) As if we haven't enough already with all the TC database stuff!! (aka. Squadron Status and On-going Competitions)

R As I stated at the beginning of this report I'm very pleased with our current activity and communication levels as a true working Squadron. Almost all you are active some way or another. But those of you who didn't do a single thing yet for the most important competition you'll ever have here: WTF?!! No, really, if you have any problem at your side I'd like to know about I tell you. Please e-mail me as soon as you can and tell me what are your activity plans for the rest of the month if any. I was planning to award some special gift out of the MSE for those of you performing very well in RtF but I fear I'll have to forget your names when doing so if this situation continues... ):_P

Q The Multiplayer division of RtF is near!! And as far as I know we *SHOULD* have a damned MP Army here. Captain Wolfblade, Colonel Maverick, Lieutenant Kate, be but very ready and remember my weekly hosted MP competition every Wednesday that could be useful for you to train a little. If you can't assist due to its schedule feel free to play as many "24/7 LoCs" matches as you can either against EH personnel or against any Rebel punk you can find at "The Errant Venture". I'll play with you if I can and you ask me to do it, but as I told you I'm currently busy as hell. Don't count on it, sorry. -__-U

Lieutenants Cochala and Lvpps!! You already know perfectly about the MP thingy! What are you waiting for to report in with some MP activity at your side in behalf of your Squadron? If you feel yourselves a little lost about what to do and where to do it remember I'm always here for you to ask as necessary. E-mail me damnit!! >:-P

Q Yet another weekly Cyclone website update, as usual. Don't forget to check the site often as one of your primary sources of useful information and bollocks of all kinds. Maybe you'll be interested in those links I added into "Cyclone NUTS Pinacotheca" so you will always be able to read any further fiction involving our mighty Squadron as long as it finds its way to me. Currently there are two excellent entries, one nice piece from Colonel Maverick and the other is that 20 pages novel from Lieutenant Kate, deserved winner of RtF Fiction division (both submitted for RtF and definitely worth to read I tell you!). And I'm so happy that this time you can send any complaints directly to myself!! So happy I am that I'm not on the mood for reading any. ^_^

Q And here you are the current status of our Squadron-level competitions for November! What can I say? You're doing so damned well that I'm *EVEN* thinking about submitting a new edition of the HS-hunting one next month on my own not giving a damn about your opinion... mainly because you didn't tell me about your "opinion" yet... >:-P.

IV.) Do it or DO IT. Don't even dare to try! (aka. Squadron Standing Orders)

  1. Fly AT LEAST a mission/battle from the Compendium!!! You're a pilot, not a wardrobe, and this is important!
  2. Take an IWATS. And if you actually learn something maybe you're doing miracles too! ;-D
  3. Fly some MP. Plenty of comps. to do it. If only you could feel The Power of the Pwnage Side©®!!
  4. Drink; as a truly Challengite this is a must to perform. If only you could feel The Power of the Daze Side of the Booze©®!!
  5. Participate in some competition if possible. Cyclone is here to obliterate any opposition hence our nickname!
  6. For Flight Leaders: I want your weekly reports on Fridays if possible. It's not mandatory but... it's better to not take risks...

Note on order 4: if you can't actually realize this IS NOT a RL way to go you should request transfer to the Sov or something... ¬_¬

V.) Someone flew over the Ewok's Nest (aka. Commander's Corner)

So far... "Raise the Flag 2007" competition where the TIE Corps Flagship for the next year will be decided is still running and all ships participating there are doing their best to get such a distinguished title which will allow them to feed their vanity and scoff about the others for months. In this very moment the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Challenge is leading (could it be another way?) and Cyclone is also leading Squadron-wise. Almost all members from "The Demolition Crew" are doing quite well there and their CMDR, Zósite K.S., a crazy dangerous guy capable of piloting a mynock if there're shinies involved (they say the only thing he wouldn't be able to pilot is his own brain), is but very proud with his pilots' performance.

As if it wouldn't be enough some crazy flag up there recently decided it would be a nice idea to promote this Zósite to Major. Hence the new stupid name The Wicked CMDR of Cyclone is using now: "Major NUTS ever". But he also realized that he needs now a new uniform where he'll also be able to show his first Order of the Vanguard, the ultimate proof of him punishing the Fleet for all a whole year, the ultimate proof of the Fleet being capable of endure such mantained insanity onslaught. And right now he's at Lt. Commander Vertigo's office, trying to tailor a new one using some curious tailoring kit that Lt. Colonel Tempest made for the TIE Corps some months ago. This is the fourth time he pierces his own hand trying to attach that stupid rank panel to his jacket... Suddenly Lt. Commander Verde from "The Wind of Change" enters the office staggering badly due to the mountain of documents he's carrying.

<LCM Verde> M-Major, Sir, here are the reports of my last completed missions for the competition. I thought you'd like to have them all ASAP and here I am.

<MAJ Zósite> Mmmm... ok, just leave them here and go back to duty. Time is our worst enemy here.

<LCM Verde> Indeed, Sir.

LCM Verde leaves the pile of documents in the desk... right over all the ribbons carefully alligned there by Zósite some minutes ago waiting to be added to the jacket. Followed by the killing gaze of his CMDR the acting-Flight Leader of Cyclone Flight II abandons the office. But when the Major is going to start again, trying to figure out what's wrong with that bloody rank panel and what the hell people do for it to stick, Colonel Maverick appears there carrying another pile of documents and his personal datapad.

<COL Maverick> Zósite, this is for you: my recent completed missions. And also my weekly Flight report, let's see... This week has been by far the best I've seen among "The Gale Providers" for months including Lieutenant Flyer's performance in blablabblablablafictionblablabla20pagsOMGblablablablablabla and slackeringGodoblablablabla because myGoEftwblablablabla and furtheractivityblabla...

But Zósite is not hearing Mav's report. Actually he's plotting the best way to boil all a former Challenge Commodore. Maybe because the good old Colonel thought it would be a good idea to drop all his stuff right upon Verde's reports. Now recovering those ribbons seems like a bad nightmare in Zós' near future.

<MAJ Zósite> Nice, Colonel, nice... and now j-just leave me alone and re-return to your duties... ~>:-|

<COL Maverick> Roger, roger! I think I left something in the oven and maybe it will be ready at last. An Ewok? Who cares?

<MAJ Zósite> Begone you!! >:P

But as Maverick leaves the office Lieutenant Katherine C. Flyer appears in the door pushing a BIG crate into the room. She stops right after Zós' (ironed out) new dress pants, which were laying on the floor, have been merciless squashed by the crate. Zósite starts bitting his tailoring needle...

<MAJ Zósite> ... ¬_¬ ...

<LT Kate> Hey Zósite! Here you are all this as I promised. My submissions for RtF. The first 3 are my banners and posters for the graphics division and the rest of the crate is my fiction. Well, if you don't like it you could always use it to bang some Rebel heads out there and...

<LT Kate> Ok, ok, calm down, Major. That vein at your forehead will cause a reactor-core meltdown one of these days... :-P

But as soon as Kate leaves the room Lt. Commander Vertigo is there. He seems to have returned from his week LoA to take again Flight II Leadership and he brings a gift for his CMDR. As long as you can call a C-class container filled with BSF stuff "a gift" (and the first one asking me how could he carry such a thing and/or making it to pass through the office's door will be awarded an hour-long tedious and hellish explanation which won't solve your doubts but will make you to think twice before asking stupid questions)...

<LCM Vertigo> S-Sir!! I'm here again! And I've heard about ISD Challenge and Cyclone supremacy in the competition. I was so happy that I decided to accomplish with a couple of assignments (about 200±) before reporting in. Ok, I'll just leave this thing here and...

<MAJ Zósite> NO!!! NOT OVER THE DESK!!!! WAIT!!!! >:___________D

Some hours later we find Major Zósite performing the usual way: drinking pint after pint at the Wing X Cantina but wearing his old Captain uniform. But then Rear Admiral Darklord, the Challenge Commodore himself takes a seat at his right.

<RA Darklord> Hey, Zós. How is it going? I heard about your pilots' recent performance in "Raise the Flag". I'd like to forward you all my personal congrats on all the efforts you're doing in behalf of our ship. ^_^

<MAJ Zósite> Thank you, Admiral, Sir. Always doing what we could, you know. Not necessary to thank us at all for doing what we're supposed to do and...

<RA Darklord> But Zós! What's this? Are you still wearing that old Captain uniform? I didn't promote you for nothing. May I suggest you to spend some of your (apparently) endless time on making yourself a new Major one?

<MAJ Zósite> ... ... ... X___0 ... ... ... ~~>.-F ³ ... ... ...

Add there a few more hours and we'll find this: Colonel Angel arrives at Zósite's "Secret Destillery". The classic chaos of enslaved Ewoks making booze here and there and whining 24/7 fills the ambient. Finally the Wing X Commander finds Zósite managing the developing of a new recipe of his own invention. His Ewok crew (he usually calls them "motivated volunteers" those days he awakes especially friendly) seem to be busy filling a huge alambic with colourful nasty mixtures.

<COL Angel> Hey, Zósite! I was looking for you. Have you seen the Commodore recently? We're trying to find him but he's not in the bridge nor at the Wing Cantina and he doesn't answer to his commlink. We need him to run a tactical analysis on next Sovereign flagstaff movement.

<MAJ Zósite> Not a clue, Sir. Sorry...

<COL Angel> Oh well... nevermind. He'll appear sooner or later. Last time we found him stuck within the old maintenance corridors searching for the FO's hidden stash. ;-P

As Colonel Angel leaves the area he could swear having heard some voice coming from that huge booze alambic... maybe just his imagination. Zósite's mixtures tend to behave in such strange ways...
