< Salute, pilots from Wing X, Wing Commander Domi , Commodore Angel and last but not least Flight Officer Daniel Bonini >

Welcome to this, my twenty-fourth Weekly Report for my beloved Squadron, the mighty Cyclone, "The Demolition Crew". Ahhh... long time has passed since I decided to stop punishing you the NUTS way with one of these, I know... but you always knew your days were counted, didn't you? Now, even if it's only for 1 or 2 weeks while Captain Vertigo has a much deserved LoA, you're again... MINE!!! >:-J

So let's go start with some news of these last 2 weeks. Why 2 weeks? Well, anybody here remembers Cyclone report #20? Me neither so 2 weeks it is. Any questions? No? Do you even understand what am I talking about? No? Great!! We can begin! ^_^

I.) But I thought I'd find some Kansas flying farm here!! (aka. Squadron News)

V Well, well, first the first... 12 days ago a new Cyclonite joined us and this one needs to be the first, and maybe most important news entry here. Remember, people! Recruiting is always what really matters. Cyclone being the best Squadron in the Fleet, that's way too easy to get... Cyclone -remaining- in the Fleet with no pilots left? Heh... Ok, I must admit that I'm in good mood with the FO but that would be too much even for him. At least the last box of venomous chocolates I sent him as gift isn't worth that!... ahem...

So... then again, please offer your best welcome for our new member, coming back straight from M/FRG Phoenix, Lieutenant Kael Dalor who returned to the active ranks to be reckoned as Cyclone 3-3 on my own Flight III. Welcome back, Lieutenant. Pleased to have you around again. But please, you must understand we cannot pay you a drink right now. Yeeees, yeeees... I know it's usual to do it with the new recruits and that's fine, but everybody knows about old Reservists coming to the Chal every now and then, pretending to be joining us just for the booze, and leaving the hangar bay on their costly shuttles a few hours after with their "objectives" accomplished... better to play for sure from now on... >:P

V And while LT Dalor was still joining us, someone here was following the NUTS path by the book as well... Behold!! Lieutenant H'Dey Omen, Cyclone 3-2, went mad and flew about 40 missions! And as if it wasn't enough to make us all to appear worse than usual he decided to go to The Training Office and asked the TO to appoint him as PROF of... 5 IWATS Courses!!! The inhumanity! But well, given the fact of who the TO really was is not so surprising. Back in the day the absolut maximum for a single PROF were 3 Courses plus those he created on his own if any, but you see... the guy just took over the Academy in no time! So you know, pilots: whenever you find some F grade at your inbox you'll know where it came from! From now on LT Omen is PROF of the following Courses:

[CBX] Computer Basics (hard one!! :P)
      [IBX] Internet Basics
      [CSS] Cascading Style Sheets
      [IIC/1] HTML 1
      [IIC/2] HTML 2

V Heh... I know you won't give a damn about it but even then. Here you are my almighty contribution for Encyclopaedia Imperia, The Official Emperor's Hammer Wiki:

Zósite Kónstyte Styles

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You can't even imagine how much fun I had writing bollocks for 2 days! =(:___D Remember you are free to do exactly the same whenever you want as long as you make yourselves an account there and agree to follow the EH Code of Conduct and Articles of War. BUT!! This wouldn't relieve you from your duties of writing a proper INPR for your TC profiles. Hell!! Make yourselves those INPRs already!

V COL Domi, our good old Wing Commander is still fighting his eternal struggle for #isd_challenge to be registered as the official Wing Channel into Undernet. I'm sure he'll be more than pleased to accept your little contribution there. Those of you actually capable of idling on that channel as if someone would be going to award you an OoR or something shouldn't let this opportunity to show your loyalty towards the Wing and ship to pass. Just make yourselves a CService account, login into X and idle there as much as possible, especially while the channel is being registered. Don't worry about that though; I'm sure COL Domi will keep pestering around for us to be there as much as possible and about the best time to do that. Just follow his guidelines on the subject and may "Palpy" have mercy with us all! ;-)

V BWHAHAHAHA!!! The time has come! Finally, Thunder and Cyclone Squadrons enagage themselves in an inter-Squadron competition as it was originally planned long ago! >:D Unfortunately the details of such competition weren't so planned and keep being a little confusing even now but what the hell! It's time to show everybody that you got what it's necessary to obliterate any opposition as the only "TCCOM's Own Squadron" out there! Get your pilot helmets, fill your pilot hipflasks® and get ready for the briefing!

"Storm Challenge"

Week 1: Fly at once TIE-FREE 45 and XWA-FREE 35! Then submit your pilot files to COL Domi and forward me the BSF approval e-mails. This one was supposed to end yesterday but keep sending your pilot files just in case.

Week 2: Stay tuned for the next 2 missions to come, supposedly TODAY! Check TC "Competitions Center" often. As soon as they appear there do exactly the same as in Week 1 (Nooo, don't fly Week 1 missions again, dammit! :-P)

Week 3: You're supposed to write reports on all these missions you flew for them to be judged and counting towards final results. But this point is still so bloody obscure right now that I'd like to have direct word from CPT Crsepe on the subject before even start doing something. Stay tuned as well because I shall write all you as soon as he answers my requests.

V Ummm... hehehe... well, you heard the transmission. You know it to be truth. And nothing here is able to stop it no matter what. Our mighty and beloved CMDR, Captain Vertigo, is lost in space. And it seems he's being chased badly by some killer Ewok drones flying Rebel wreckages... too bad for the Captain but we must carry on, right? gnehehehehehe... ahem...

So until our entrusted leader returns from such a terrible and unexpected deep space ambush I'll be your acting-CMDR you ugly and rotten dirty piles of... I mean, my fellow and skillful Cyclonites. ^_^u Feel free to come to me with whatever nonsense you might consider critical, appropiate or even interesting to tell me. I'll be there to help you, don't even doubt it. And if you happen to see me with my cool looking TC pilot sunglasses on and making strange sounds while laying on our quarters floor, don't worry; I'm always ready to hear whatever bollocks you may say. ;-) All those bottles rolling through the floor are just remains of my performing...

V Ohhhh, sure... other things have happened in the Fleet as a whole these last 14 days, including the appointing of a new ISD Subjugator Commodore, a new CA:FO, a new CA:COMM, a new CO:FFEE (?), the unveiling of a former EH enemy overall known for being a complete psycho performing but very well as TO and then expelled in order to play for sure and whatnot... but you really don't mind. I mean: we're Cyclonites, gentlemen, members of "The Demolition Crew"! Whatever happens out there is not our business unless some crazy upper calls us to obliterate something!! Period.

( Spoilers!! Spoilers!! Do you know WHAT is this? Y-what? Whatever, it was flying like a cow... )

II.) As if we haven't enough already with all the TC database stuff!! (aka. Squadron Status and On-going Competitions)

R Well, well... let's see... a ton of e-mails requesting ALL of you reports of your activity. EVEN if they were only to tell me something like "I don't give a damn yet. Ask me again next week" :-P But to date I've only recieved response from 3 of you. But the roster tells me we're actually 9 loyal officers on Cyclone, aren't we? We are indeed! But don't worry, if you don't do something about and improve your communication we'll do something for those numbers to shrink ~>:-| Yeees, yeees, I know I'm not the CMDR but only a crappy FL and a-CMDR for a while, but I know Captain Vertigo well and my money is in him not allowing such levels of incommunication for too long.

Come on, guys! I'm not a badass on these aspects as everybody could tell you... but you must understand that keeping good levels of communication on a weekly basis is the minimum we can expect from you and it won't take more than 5 mins. of your precious time. You're still in time; send me those reports and I'll either include them on next WSR or send them to our CMDR so he can be well aware of your activity upon returning.

Q I'm still sorting out details of "Storm Challenge" with Captain Crsepe. As soon as I have all relevant details I'll inform you about via e-mail. Stay tuned! And well... I told you this engagement was only fictional in order to not destroy Imperial property, but our CMDR told you to erradicate any Thunderinian on sight, and who am I to go against our CMDR's wishes? Besides, demolishing is more funny than just pretending, isn't it? Up to you gentlemen, but later don't come telling you're going to be courtmarshalled and executed by RA Angel's own hands as soon as he comes to know you pretend to obliterate one of our remaining Squadrons... :-P

Q Yet another weekly Cyclone website update, as usual. Don't forget to check the site often as one of your primary sources of useful information and bollocks of all kinds. All complaints are to be sent directly to Grand Admiral Ronin himself with the subject: "And you really founded the club to allow the likes of Zós doing such things? You're MEAN, Sir"

Q And well, since we have no current competitions involving only Cyclone Squadron this last section remains empty. Maybe that will change soon, maybe not. But with all that lust for Imperial blood you seem to have against Thunder I honestly think it should be put to good use in some 'clone comp. in order for you to be able to annihilate your Squadron mates as well for the glory, the shinies, the psycho-fun and whatnot. We'll see what can be done about in weeks ahead. :-J

II.a) Squadron Competitions

P Storm Challenge
Details HERE
Thunder Squadron asked for mayhem... Acknowleged! Fly the missions! Get the HSs if you can! Write reports on how l33t were you while doing it! And show 'em that whenever somebody asks we about something we tend to add "...and kills us btw" to that something.

II.b) Wing / Ship Competitions

L Wing X Pilot of the Week
Details HERE
As usual, gents! Our almighty WC, Colonel Domi, will award a bronze shinie in a weekly basis and a silver one per month to whoever demonstrates he's perfectly capable of making the rest of us looking as worse as possible. Fly missions, take IWATS, participate in other comps, drink... and well... drink. Everything counts! Especially to drink. :-D

L Wing X Competition – The Wing Commander’s Own
Details HERE
At the time of writting this report this one still waits to be approved. But since I'm almost sure it will here you are. This is a blast from the past! An old classic! Basically all Wing X pilots will score points for them and their Squadrons for almost everything they do. At the end of the month the WC will tall all bollocks and the best scoring Squadron will be allowed to keep the title of "WC's Own" for a month. Pride... Shinies involved... Whate else do you need?!

II.c) Emperor's Hammer / TIE Corps / TC Battlegroups Competitions

Oh! Oh my good Lord!! But if I'm going to repeat some TC site info here. Please, have mercy!! :-P

L SP/MP Ace of the TIE Corps - September 2008
Details HERE
Simple, pretty simple: fly as hell, make your CMDR's life miserable BSFing your stuff and earn medals for it. IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW for the 3 best ranking players at the Single Player Kill Board. What else do you need to fill your IDline with useless titles as myself? And also a
MP division! KILL everybody and feel proud for it!! IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW for the 3 best ranking players at the Multiplayer Kill Board. You gotta love it!!

L Training Office Recruiting Challenge
Details HERE
An IS-PR... I'm pretty sure many of you think that platinum stuff awardings are just legends and those who actually show such things on their dress uniforms have to pay a monthly fee to the FC himself for him to allow them to lie everybody on how they managed to compite for them. Ok, whatever you say, but whoever first manages to recruit 5! new members for this great club before deadline is in great danger of being awarded one of those. ;-)

L TIE Golf 2008
Details HERE
Did you think the best way to play a mission was to score as much as possible. Think twice!! What? You think it to be silly? Ok, ok... then I'll just give back to FA Dempsey this IS-PW!! I rented it in order to show you what will be the maximum award... EJEM...

L TAC's Best (September 2008)
Details HERE
Ummm... curious but
our Lady TACcy didn't submit yet this month's entry of this classic HS-lovers competition. Here above you are a link to August entry for the sakes of detailing. And the good thing about this one is you don't need to actually do anything; just fly the best you can and if you manage to get some HSs you'll be in the good way for winning here! ;-D

L Match the TAC #9
Details HERE
Same as above. There's no entry for this monthly competition on the "Competitions Section" yet. But for this one there's actually a September division running right now! Check out the link above and you'll see. The objective? Easy... try to match TAC's score in that mission! And remember! For this one don't send your pilot files to our CMDR as usual; they must be sent directly to FA Dempsey and they'll be BSFd at the end of the month. If you fail in such an easy requirement Lady Dempsey will come to you by night with a vengeance and... no, wait, screw that!! *I*'ll come to you by night with a vengeance. >:F

L TACcy Quotes
Details HERE
For this one you'll need to read each and every weekly TAC report and... Mmmm? Stop trying to hang yourselves dammit!! What's the problem?! You are right now reading this, right? Then you'll be able to read ANYTHING so shut the hell up you!! >:( Well, as I was telling you, read those reports, find the movie quote lying there and e-mail FA Dempsey as quickly as you can with your answer!

L Name that TOon!
Details HERE
Errr... well... this one is very similar to the one above but... It's supposed to be judged by the TO and, well, we have no TO right now. Up to you, gentlemen, but my honest opinion is you shouldn't waste time here until a new TO is appointed and revalidates the comp. :-\

H 24/7 LoC weekly challenge (Multiplayer!!)
Details HERE
Never get yourself a DFC was more easy!! Forget all you may have learnt before! Now DFCs are actually awarded for "24/7LoCs" events using the same guidelines as for their classic awardings on hosted events. Kill 3 different people, rank the best player and blahblahblah... Your best bet I tell you! Quick, before someone actually realizes DFCs awarded this way are just too cheap to be truth. :-P

G XvT Week of War CXXI (Multiplayer!!)
Details HERE

The best XvT MP competition ever. Period. World-wide! Inter-clubs! And on a monthly basis! Hosted by Battlestats, as usual. Don't forget to take [MP/2] IWATS Course as well as [AMP] if you *REALLY* want to have a chance at this one; the playing level is from the matter the nightmares are made of. LoCs!! DFCs!! Glory not only for you but also for The Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet as a whole. Do I need to say more? If you never participated on any of these you never played MP for real, and you guess it to be truth.

III.) No activity?!! You're in the Eye of the Cyclone, by Palpatine's sake! You should be at least dying!

IV.) Do it or DO IT. Don't even dare to try! (aka. Squadron Standing Orders)

  1. Fly AT LEAST a mission/battle from the Compendium!!! You're a pilot, not a wardrobe, and this is important!
  2. Take an IWATS. And if you actually learn something maybe you're doing miracles too! ;-D
  3. Fly some MP. Plenty of comps. to do it. If only you could feel The Power of the Pwnage Side©®!!
  4. Drink; as a truly Challengite this is a must to perform. If only you could feel The Power of the Daze Side of the Booze©®!!
  5. Participate in some competition if possible. Cyclone is here to obliterate any opposition hence our nickname!
  6. Contact your Flight Leader or Squadron Commander at least once a week!! This is BUT VERY important in order to mantain your arse within the roster. CMDR may well have the nasty mania of kicking mute people out of the airlock...
  7. Be always loyal to the TIE Corps Fleet, then the ISD Challenge and Wing X, then Cyclone.
  8. Kill any rebel scumb, dirty smuggler or pathetic pirate on sight and with a smile on your face. Cleaning 'da house!
  9. Have fun doing all this stated above! Now this one is a f****** order; if you don't accomplish with this one you're really doing nothing. Go away and make something better with your life like having a pathetic RL job, trying for your wife to not cheat you with a REAL PILOT... ahem...
  10. It would be sooo simetric and perfect for you to have a 10th order... but you haven't. :-P

Note on order 4: if you can't actually realize this IS NOT a RL way to go you should request transfer to the Sov or something... ¬_¬

V.) Someone flew over the Ewok's Nest (aka. Commander's Corner)

Cyclone Squadron, "The Demolition Crew", stands now at Captain Vertigo's Office while attending the briefing by MAJ Zósite Kónstyte Styles, Leader of "The Gale Providers". It's usually the CMDR who does these things, but this time Captain Vertigo tries to find his way out of a deep space ambush involving rabid furry gremlins-like creatures piloting Rebel wreckages. So while Captain Vertigo commits the worst attrocities against such a lovely teddies the MAJ NUTS (ever) reminds his old times of Cyclone Commander while trying to explain his pilots what's the mission, this time as acting-Commander.

The mission? Easy to tell: engage Thunder Squadron, also from Wing X, in an inter-Squadron competition approved by the Office of the Wing Commander and the Training Office itself. So there we have 8 pilots looking carefully to the briefing panel, where Zósite has just coded the simulator to provide them a detailed tactical map of the upcoming confrontation. When talking about detailed we're meaning the crappy 2-D (looking closely one could even say it's 1-D!) image of a Missile Boat, a TIE Defender with some curious resemblance like a strange grasshoper and a straight (or not so straight for that matter) arrow departing from first to last.

<MAJ Zós> So that's it, gentlemen. As I told you, this long planned competition starts today! We shall demonstrate the whole ship as well as our flags, not to mention the Flight Officer himself who is right now at the Wing Cantina trying to heal himself a little from our last "escorting mission", that we STILL deserve our title of "TCCOM's Own"! In order to do that we'll use from all our skills and motivation to level any Thunderinian daring to strike back to his own dust. Any questions?

<LCM Ark-illos> Well, Zós, now that you mention it. How are we going to reach the sector where...?

<MAJ Zós> Because any question will be answered at once, right here and now, in order for us to clarify what it's obvious. That we're going to WIN this competition. We're going to keep our banners up there as a recognition of our quality flying as well as our loyalty towards the TIE Corps Commander! I won't lie you, people: Thunder is reckoned as being among the best Squadrons in the Fleet, they won't be a cakewalk at all. Its history is one of the highest commitment, greatest performance and even better knowledge on how to do things as they should out there. Do you understand what I mean, Cyclone?

<LT H'Dey Omen> Well, yes, Sir... but it would be interesting to know about their TIE Defenders performance 'cos I've come to know that the Science Office provided them with a new weapon that...

<MAJ Zós> What you surely understand to the letter is that this is our duty, even if it involves going against our own comrades it's necessary to keep the good training at the highest levels in order to be ready for real trouble wherever it shall appear. The Rebels are no match for us anymore. They're but a pathetic sight when we compare their ridiculous fighters and tiny motivations, not to mention brains, with our well known cappacity of obtaining a flawless victory upon them no matter what. I have been talking with Captain Crsepe about the exact details of the engagement and the proper ways to recognize winners' efforts.

<LT Kael Dalor> So...? What the Thunder CMDR told you about...?

<MAJ Zós> Because that's what I am looking for here, pilots! YOUR efforts. They can mean the difference between the greatest and glorious victory and the darkest defeat! We're a name to be reckoned with! We're Cyclone, "The Demolition Crew", and no Squadron in the whole Fleet, not from the very Chal nor from another ship capable of... of... ??? ...

<MAJ Zós> W-What... what are you going to do with that rope, buddies? ?:-L
